| According to Amtrak's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act documents available on its website, 15 P40 locomotives, 60 Amfleet cars and 21 long distance cars will be restored to service. This page includes the equipment listed in this document, and to the extent possible will track dates of repair. Many of these cars and locos are in a "stored dead" or "wreck" status, hence are not included in the count of active equipment on other pages on this site. Beginning with the June 2010 Monthly Report, Amtrak broke out some previously-performed minor overhauls of equipment as "Stimulus" repairs. Those cars are not listed on this page. |
