Amtrak Alert

Signal Issues East of New York Penn Station

June 22, 2024 07:00 PM

Reports of signal issues east of New York Penn Station are causing single-track conditions. Services operating in the impacted area should expect delays of up to approximately 60 minutes. We do not have an estimated time for normal operations to resume. Personnel are on the scene troubleshooting the issue and hope to have a resolution soon. We will post updates here as soon as they are available.

Customers with reservations on affected trains will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
