CSX Customer Advisory: Tropical Storm Helene Notice

 

September 24, 2024

 

Please be advised that CSX is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Helene, which is projected to intensify to hurricane strength before making landfall along the Florida Panhandle on Thursday. Our primary concern is the safety of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

 

In anticipation of potential impacts, we are implementing comprehensive safety measures and preparing our network to ensure the continuity of operations. Our teams are on high alert, ready to respond swiftly to any disruptions and to support recovery efforts.

 

Currently, only TRANSFLO terminals have service adjustments to report. Please refer to the chart below for updates on storm-impacted TRANSFLO terminals through Friday, September 27.

At this time, all other terminals are maintaining normal operations. We will keep you informed of any additional updates or changes that may affect our operations. Please continue to monitor our CSX Customer Advisories and Intermodal-specific Real-Time Service Advisories for relevant information. Additionally, please notify your CSX contact of any site closures or changes in local service needs due to the weather. 

 

The Customer Solutions team is available to offer details and answer questions regarding your shipments. Connect with the Customer Solutions team at 1-877-ShipCSX (1-877-744-7279). If you need Carload assistance, select option 2 from the sub-menu, followed by 1, 5 to talk to a representative. For Intermodal assistance, choose 2 from the sub-menu, followed by 2, 2 to converse with a representative. Alternatively, you can submit a Shipment Problem Resolution request via our website www.shipcsx.com.
